This coffee comes from a farm located in the most mountainous municipality of the department
of Antioquia, Colombia. It is a mountain coffee, grown under the shade of native trees. Shade-
Grown coffee is known to be friendly with the fauna and flora and provides habitat for a wide
range of animal species including birds and pollinating insects. Minimizes the land’s erosion,
maintains healthy soil humidity, minimizes the incidence of plagues and provides organic
matter improving the soil quality.
